My Brother Hagop the author and composer of this album was born

in Jerusalem where he also attended Tarkmanchatz Armenian school.

Every morning at sunrise in our underground house in the St. James Convent ,

OldCity Jerusalem, we woke up to my father’s praise songs sung with his gentle tenor voice.

 As children we wondered at my dad, Hampartsoum’s spirit of praise, who had suffered horrible losses during the Armenian Genocide committed by the Turks. 

  As an only survivor of his family he was an eyewitness to his wife, mother andbrothers being burned alive in a wooden church in Marash. 

He impacted our lives with his heartfelt statement saying. “ I WILL CONTINUE TO SING.  ALTHOUGH THE ENEMY BURNED MY  WHOLE  FAMILY INTO ASHES,  THEY COULD NOT BURN  MY FAITH IN THE RISEN LORD’’ 

  My father’s testimony influenced my brother Hagop to dedicate his God-givenmusical talents as singer, songwriter, and composer, to touch thousands with Jesus’ Love. 

  Hagop’s inspirational Praise, Prayer and Worship songs will help many  who encounter losses in their lives with renewed hope in Jesus; losses caused by loneliness  , illness, depression, abuse, broken relationships, hopelessness, rejection, spiritual, moral, and financial losses.
