Sirarpi Zirekyants

Concert pianist Sirarpi Zirekyants was born in Yerevan, Armenia. She studied with renowned pianists and at the Tchaikovsky School of Music in the former USSR/Armenia, and after graduating she received her Ph.D. from Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory.
During her school and college years, Sirarpi performed as a soloist and an accompanist in numerous concerts, award shows and musical events. She performed in every arts and theatrical venue in Armenia, including Sundukyan Theatre and both Philharmonic halls. She was also invited multiple times by the Russian ambassador’s wife to perform at the Russian Consulate in Armenia. Sirarpi arranged music, worked as an accompanist, taught, and staged theatre productions at the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Film before moving to Los Angeles.
In the U.S., she continues her professional work as a musical performer, accompanist, arranger, and instructor. She is the founder/director and teacher at the Sound of Music School in North Hollywood.
