Rev. Berdj Djambazian
Minister Of The Word

Reverend Berdj Djambazian was born of Armenian parents in the old city of Jerusalem. He is fluent in Armenian, Arabic, Turkish, German, French and English. That is why he is involved in worldwide global ministries.
Rev. Djambazian graduated from the Beatenberg School of Missions and Theology in Switzerland in 1966, and the Near East School of Theology in Beirut, Lebanon. He also attended the National Conservatory of Music in Marseille for vocal training from 1968 to 1971.
From 1967 to 1973, he pastored two churches in Marseille, France. Rev. Djambazian pastored one of the largest churches in Beirut from 1973 to 1981, during the devastating civil war in Lebanon. The great need and suffering' of the community lead him to establish a dental and medical clinic in the slum area, of Beirut.
In 1981, he was called to minister as the Associate Pastor of the United Armenian Congregational Church in Hollywood and soon after he became the Senior Pastor of UACC and served there for ten years. In 1984, Reverend Djambazian established a television ministry to reach out to the Armenian Community at large. This ministry continues today having global coverage and is currently being aired four times a week via internet and television around the world. He has also planted three Armenian churches in Glendale, California.
He is very involved in local community outreach services. He serves as a member of the board of directors at the Glendale Memorial Hospital and was elected to be on the board of directors at the YMCA in Glendale, California as well. He organized and took part in a relief project to help the suffering and hurting people of Darfur and Sudan. He also led multiple seminars worldwide.
Rev. Djambazian is married to Shoghig Patricia Djambazian and has three children and two grandchildren of whom he gives glory to God.
